What do you do at URS?

I am responsible for business development with industrial sector clients and I am a Client Account Manager for several key multinational clients.

What are your general responsibilities for the project you are working on?

While I am Project Director on several projects, my basic responsibility is to grow client accounts, both geographically and across as many services as possible. I also help other Client Account Managers do their jobs better.

What attracted you to your area of specialty?

I was interested in the sciences and engineering and finding practical solutions using effective teams of people.

Where did you study?

I have a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Vermont in the United States.

What brought you to URS?

I had been a client in U.S. for 12 years before coming to London when my wife had a job transfer. I worked for another good consultancy in the UK for three years and then saw greater potential at URS with a chance to run the London Soil and Groundwater group, which I did for 4 years before moving over to business development.

What is your proudest achievement at URS?

Assembling very bright teams of people to solve very challenging technical and strategic client problems.

What is your favorite thing about working at URS?

Without question, my favorite thing is working with people who deliver high quality solutions again and again to the most demanding customers in the world.

What is your future career goal at URS?

Broader business development both sector-wise and geographically.
